as with all mechanical device (cycle wheels etc)
Keep clean free of grit and lightly oiled.
DO NOT CLEAN CLUTCH AREA WITH JET WASH
THIS CAN BREAK SEALS.
or subjest to dragging through salt water sand etc without cleaning and oiling straight away.
